Reports to: Professional Services Director
We are looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Technical Lead who is passionate about making a difference and providing an outstanding customer experience to play an important role in the delivery of creative Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions. You will partner with a diverse set of enterprise customers, working not only across the Salesforce MC product suite but also with our strategic partner products.
In addition, you will work alongside 4C's experts across the group, including a Certified Technical Architect and Product experts. You will work with clients across multiple industries or focus on a specific industry to architect and implement state-of-the-art Salesforce MC technology and creative business solutions that enable our clients to automate processes, increase performance and become more customer-centric.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide technical consultation on Salesforce Marketing Cloud toolset and solutions
Hand’s on involvement in platform configuration, scripting, API, and data integrations
Identify and understand business goals and objectives and run effective requirement gathering sessions.
Design high quality and scalable solutions to address the business problems faced by customers. Estimate effort required to complete these solutions.
Producing quality solution documentation and owning this throughout the project life cycle.
Both delivering complex configuration yourself and managing the delivery of these solutions to customers through your delivery team. May also require management of Development resource.
Providing consultancy to customers around SF and Marketing best practices.
Managing key stakeholders through the project, ensuring the customer is getting return on their investment of SF
Identifying Opportunities for 4C to implement new solutions for customers.
Represent and promote 4C Core Values
Expected to act as a mentor to less experienced members of the team
2+ years Salesforce Marketing Cloud / ExactTarget experience
Ability to build complex functionality in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Must have Salesforce implementation or administration experience
Proficient in AMPscript specifically and experienced in a range of client and server-side programming languages and proficient developing SQL and experience with a RDBMS such as MS SQL Server, MySQL or Oracle.
Experienced working with APIs – preferably SOAP and REST based APIs
Understanding of Network Protocols and Services (DNS, HTTP, HTTPS)
Knowledge of requirements gathering and translating into technical solutions
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve independently
Ability to provide effective guidance and mentorship to others
Ability to hold customer facing workshops
Able to write technical documentation to be used by other members of the project team
Excellent strategic and technical thinking
Ability to consultatively engage with customers and to quickly help them
Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Willingness to travel
