Intro/Summary

We’re looking for recent graduates/ candidates with a hunger for technology to join our world-class team of professionals at 4C, EMEA's largest independent Salesforce Platinum Partner.


As part of this graduate programme, you will undertake scheduled training whilst gaining experience working as a First Line Support Executive in our Managed Service team and supporting on build activities in our Projects. This will give you exposure to a wide variety of customer projects across different products, using the latest tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend classroom training sessions and work autonomously to skill-up via e-learning (Salesforce Trailhead) and practice cases.
  • Shadowing other members of the team and attending meetings with customers.
  • Providing First Line Support for all Customers within alignment to our Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Offering support to Managed Service customers for anything that falls into the ‘1st Line Support’ work queue.
  • Support with Build activities in a safe environment during the implementation of Projects.
  • Proactively resolve and/or escalate issues
  • Making configuration changes to customer’s Salesforce environments, testing the changes made, following the internal QA process and communicating these changes back to the customer
  • Adhering to priority-driven expectations in terms of turnaround times for work items given from the customer.

1st Line Support Work Overview:

  • Creating simple reports & dashboard components
  • Creating New Users
  • Workflow rule creation that does not involve multiple criteria
  • Workflow actions (including email alerts, task creation & simple field updates)
  • Simple Process Builders
  • Field creation (excluding formula fields)
  • Email template creation (excluding custom html)
  • Email letterhead creation
  • Page layout changes
  • Creation of simple validation rules
  • Management of password policies
  • Management of session settings
  • Creation and modification of search settings
  • Web-to-lead set up
  • Email-to-case set up
  • Data imports using the standard Salesforce import wizard

Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Strong academic background, ideally a minimum 2:1 in relevant technical degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or similar (other degrees will be considered)
  • Commitment and passion to pursue a career in technology.
  • Strong and proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to maintain high performance under time pressure with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts and describe technical material to non-technical users
  • Fluency in the English language is essential, with the ability to communicate persuasively and effectively

Desirable Skills

  • IT Experience Preferable / Strong interest in IT
  • Understanding of Salesforce/CRM
